Coast Guardsmen from the U.S, Antigua Barbuda Defense Force, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines perform multiple boat pursuit drills. The training was conducted during Tradewinds 2013. Tradewinds 2013 is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations. Highlights of Phase One of Tradewinds 2015. Tradewinds is a combined and joint exercise, conducted in three phases, that helps build the capacity of nations in the Caribbean to better respond to natural disasters, as well as land and maritime threats, including illicit trafficking. Each participating country looks to improve key security-mission areas through the equal exchange of knowledge and expertise.
